A peaceful image yet very strong emotions. I like this. Thanks for visiting my blog. You ask about books, DVDs etc. For a very good book filled with basics and fun techniques I have "No Experience Required Watercolor" by Carol Cooper but there are hundreds of good starter books. As I love the loose kind of painting and finding "lost" subjects I am drawn to the works of Karlyn Holman and she has written several books. I have one called "Watercolor-the Spirit of Spontaneity" I would also suggest you check out anything by Shirley Trevena and the blogs of Jean Haines and Jane Minter.
